it was coming

You have all been wonderful, especially those who subscribed to defray the costs of keeping the blog ad free. But honestly, I am done…

So thank you all for reading and following for these past ten years.. but it is time . I have copied all the posts for my own records and this is likely my last post, or maybe just for the summer.

Thank you. You shouldn’t be surprised. You knew

it was coming

  1. You will still have your island adventures to enjoy, it will be strange to not hear about them.

Sometimes, I forget there are orcas swimming about until I read your post, or that there is an abundance of tomatoes growing in a garden, soon to be salsa

….not a weekly blog( hint, hint)

  2. OK, all good things must come to an end. 😢 But what will I do now on my smoke breaks?

Seriously though, I have many, many fond memories of reading your excursions on DeCourcy Island. Thanks for sharing with us. We’ll have to see more of you in person so we can keep up with your news!

  3. Moira, I have so enjoyed your blog since I have started to read it just a short time ago.

It has given us wonderful insight into your life on the island and to get to know you both.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

    All the best,

Joy PS maybe we might see an occasional update now and again?

  7. Thank you. Since we met briefly in 2015, it has been a privilege to share some of your off-grid experiences. You have made me think – and never take my own blessings for granted. Sue
